What is Blob Opera?
Blob Opera is both a musical and visual experience that enables players to create opera music by moving blobs up, down, and side-to-side. The game does not require any prior musical knowledge, as the blobs' machine-learning model guides them to sing in harmony, making it easy for anyone to compose beautiful melodies. The blobs respond to user manipulation, adjusting pitch and vowel sounds to match the movement, creating a playful and engaging operatic experience.
How to Play Blob Opera
- Interact with the Blobs: There are four blobs on the screen, each corresponding to a different voice type. Players can click and drag the blobs up and down to change the pitch of their singing and move them side to side to modify the vowel sounds.
- Adjust Each Blob's Pitch and Vowels: Each blob can sing independently, allowing players to create harmonies by controlling the pitch of each voice. Move the blobs up for a higher pitch or down for a lower pitch.
- Play and Record: Players can record their musical compositions and share them with others or save them for later. The recording captures the harmonious singing created with the blob movements.
- Use Pre-Set Songs (Optional): The game also features pre-set holiday songs and other music for players to modify or use as a starting point.
